War Zone- Week 4 Tactics of the Enemy vs. Strategies of the Believer (Fear Part 1)
The tactic of the enemy we will be studying in the next 3 lessons is fear. Merriam Webster online dictionary defines fear as: an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger; anxious concern. There are many things that can cause fear in our lives. We will be digging into the Word to take a closer look at the first two of seven common fears that Christians face today. First, Fear of Man. Example 1: Peter had been called by Jesus to follow him and be his disciple. Peter had willingly followed, had traveled with, learned from, and ministered with Jesus. For three years Peter lived in constant communion with Christ. He had seen the dead raised, the blind receive sight, the lame walk.... He had been with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration.
