Lessons From the Secret Place – Lesson 5: Signs of the Times

Today’s lesson is much heavier than I normally send.  However, it is a timely message that the Bride needs to hear!!

In a dream I had last night, I was traveling throughout a city and everywhere I looked there were clocks of all varieties hanging in the sky.  I noted that they all had the same time, but no one could change them to set them in sync. 

When I woke after the dream, I knew it was something I needed to talk with the Father about. As I sat down to talk with the Father, I asked him what the clocks meant.  I am going to share with you what I received.  

The signs of the times area all around you.  As in my dream some signs are beautiful and others not.  God is beginning to open the eyes of our hearts to see what is happening behind the veil.  He is going to show us what is happening in the spirit realm so we can partner with Him to work on earth the things being done in the heavenlies.  He needs laborers who will bring His Kingdom Rule to earth.  He is looking for those who will stand in the gap.  For those who will give Him their BIG YES!! Those who will lay down their comfort for the sake of the Kingdom. 

The move is on. The time is now. The doors are closing on an era and opening on a new era.  This is a season of awakening.  This is a season of refreshing and renewal. The Father is making streams in the desert and bringing high places down.  The reign of darkness is coming to an end! His Bride is rising to be who He destined her to be. To be kings and priests. To rule and reign upon the earth and to take new ground for the Kingdom.  

The Father longs for the lost.  He longs for the prodigals to return home to Him.  He longs to see those is chains set free and those who are hopeless to find hope in Him.  

It is the Father’s desire for NONE to perish!!  His heart aches for those who choose to die in their sins out of rebellion and ignorance.  He gives everyone an opportunity to come the Jesus, but He grieves the loss of those who say, “NO”. He created us (mankind) for fellowship and to watch those He loves choose eternal separation breaks His heart. 

I felt the Father saying that the hardest part of being God is watching those He loves lose their lives to the enemy.  As a just, righteous, and holy God, He must uphold the standard but that doesn’t mean He doesn’t grieve.  His grieving is not like ours but His heart hurts for the lost, especially those who still have a chance to come to Jesus.  

It is time for His Bride to rise and stop this process of loss!!  Hell is real. Hell is intense.  Hell is worse than our darkest imaginings.  Hell is total loss, darkness, pain and hopelessness.  It never ends!!  

While people are alive there is still hope!!  

I am not adding any of my own comments to what the Father gave me.  

Father, please break our hearts for the lost!! Help us to understand the desperate state of those who do not know you!  Remind us daily of the price Jesus paid and the consequences of sin and rebellion.  Give us eyes to see beyond the veil so we can partner with you to bring your Kingdom to earth.  We see the signs of the times and know the end is near. Please nudge us as we encounter the lost and hurting in our daily life.  There is harvest all around us all the time.  Grant us boldness and conviction to act in obedience to your promptings.  May we rescue those who are perishing!!!  May we give hope to the hopeless and bring freedom to the captives.  

Isaiah 61:1-3, The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, 3 to preserve those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified. Lessons From the Secret Place Special Edition – Intimacy- An Attitude of Gratitude

Webster’s 1828 dictionary says gratitude is an emotion of the heart, excited by a favor or benefit received; a sentiment of kindness or good will towards a benefactor; thankfulness.  God desires relationship and intimacy with us.  One way we can share intimacy with him is through thanksgiving.  When someone does something for me, no matter how great or small, I say, “Thank you” and try to return in kind.  That is how I was raised.  We show gratitude when others bless us. Lessons From the Secret Place - Lesson 1: God is calling us to a place of intimacy with Him.

I don’t know about you, but in my life, it seems like everywhere I turn the Lord is speaking about intimacy. I can be listening to music and the songs all have the message of time alone w ith God. Scott and I belong to multiple Bible Study groups, and they all seem to have a similar message these days: intimacy.  Even in our pastor’s messages of late, there is always some mention of time with God, receiving God’s love, knowing God’s heart for us...   I think there is a message that they L o rd is trying to convey to His Bride !   As I write this, I can hear Him saying, “I want to spend ti me with you.  I want to share my love, my heart, my strength, my peace, and my joy with you.
